Four Public Holidays; Not The Usual Three

This year, there are four public holidays at Christmas/New Year instead of the usual three.

  • Christmas Day is Friday 25 December and it is a public holiday.
  • Boxing Day is Saturday 26 December and it is a public holiday.
  • Monday 28 December is an additional public holiday.
  • New Year’s Day is Friday 1 January 2016 and it is a public holiday.
